Lake Elementary School tasked the Firestone team with repairing a sewer belly in their kitchen. The issue began inside the kitchen and extended under the footing outside to the main sewer line. We opened the kitchen floor and removed the exterior concrete panels to trench and expose the sewer lateral and main. During the process, we also installed a floor sink and a floor drain with a trap primer to improve drainage. The project was completed by patching the kitchen floor with quarry tile and placing reinforced concrete outside. All work was efficiently completed within one week over spring break, ensuring minimal disruption to the school schedule.
